Halogen-controlled transformations are very stereoselective and hold huge significance in asymmetric organic transformations. Halo-cyclized products are considered the building blocks in numerous pharmaceutical industries, agrochemicals, and material chemistry. The review will discuss the role of numerous catalysts to synthesize various halocyclized products under different conditions.
