Quaternionic Linear Canonical Wave Packet Transform

In this article, we introduce the notion of linear canonical wave packet transform in quaternionic settings and we name it the quaternionic linear canonical wave packet transform (QLCWPT). Firstly, we establish the fundamental properties, viz. linearity, anti-linearity, parity, scaling, dilation and Parseval’s identity. Furthermore, some key harmonic analysis results like energy conservation, inversion formula, characterization of range and some bounds of QLCWPT are obtained. Towards the culmination of this paper, we established Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle and logarithmic uncertainty principle associated with the proposed transform (QLCWPT).
