Ozone Content over the Russian Federation in 2021

Abstract

The review is compiled based the results obtained in Russia and neighboring countries by the total ozone (TO) monitoring system run in the operational mode at the Central Aerological Observatory (CAO). The monitoring system uses data of the domestic M-124 filter ozonometer network methodologically guided by the Main Geophysical Observatory. The entire system performance is operationally controlled using the OMI satellite equipment observations (NASA, USA). Basic TO observational data are generalized for each month of the fourth quarter of 2021, for the fourth quarter, and for the whole year. Data of routine observations of surface ozone in the Moscow region are also presented.
