Calibration of Glass Hemisphere and Traceability at CSIR-National Physical Laboratory-India

In this paper, we present the roundness measurement capability and traceability at CSIR National Physical Laboratory-India (NMI-India). A glass hemisphere is used for traceability, and measurements are taken with a roundness machine. The LSC method with the minimum zone solution is used for the analysis of results for circular profiles. The measurement uncertainty for the glass hemisphere calibration using roundness machine is ± 0.017 µm.
