The proof of [7, theorem 4.8] for large coupling constant α has a gap (while the proof remains correct for small α). We correct this error by giving a direct proof of [7, theorem 4.8], which holds for any coupling parameter α > 0. Consequently, the main results of [7] on existence and identification of the Polaron measure and its CLT now hold for any α > 0. © 2022 Wiley Periodicals LLC.
