This article shows the main results of the author's practical work as a sociologist and civil rights activist. The article analyzes the results of the first qualitative research on the problems of femicide, which is based on traditions and, thanks to this, finds support and approval among residents of the North Caucasus. In the article we will consider the main forms of femicide (honor killings, female genital mutilation, and reproductive violence). The article also analyzes how the authorities and religious organizations solve the problem of femicide.
