The authors regret that an error in Figure 4A was not identified during the final proofing of manuscript. This error was mainly caused by the negligence in the arrangement of pictures, showing a misplacement of STAT3 nuclear translocation in 200 μmol/kg Mn-treated samples. The error does not affect the quantitative analysis of samples for STAT3 nuclear translocation. Below is the corrected version of Figure 4A. The authors would like to apologize for any inconvenience this error may have caused.

Effects of Mn on the nuclear STAT3 and PGC-1α. (A) The colocalization of STAT3 (red) and nuclei (blue) in Iba1-positive (green, microglia) cells were examined by a confocal microscope with the ×60 objective lenses and calculated the Pearson's correlation coefficient by ImageJ software. The scale bar: 50 μm. We selected five random 60× fields per sample for all indices and counted approximately 20 cells for each sample. (B) The protein expression of STAT3 and PGC-1α in the nuclear fraction among groups was shown. n = 4 per group. **p < .01 versus control; ##p < .01 200 versus 100 μmol/kg Mn treatment
