The Quest for efficient Signal Amplification By Reversible Exchange of parahydrogen (SABRE) continues: With alt-SABRE-SHEATH, where an ultra-low magnetic field alternates between 1 μT and 50 μT, the polarization evolution starts at strong (1 μT) and continues at weak coupling conditions (50 μT) with a frequency rate of the 0th order quantum coherence. Using this effect, 15N-polarization is experimentally boosted by 30 %.
