From the fields to the plates: Jute sticks, an abundantly available agricultural waste material with low value, was converted into a high value product, namely submicron/nano jute carbon, through pyrolysis and ball milling. The synthesized material was used as a filler in epoxy resin to develop a low-cost, highly efficient anticorrosive composite coating.
