Fe−Ni Nanoparticles on N-doped Carbon as Catalysts for Electrocatalytic Reduction of CO2 to Tune CO/H2 Ratio

Fe-Ni catalysts grown on N-doped graphene-like porous carbon material (Fe2Ni/NG) are successfully prepared and the effects of monometallic and bimetallic catalysts with different molar ratios on the performance of CO2RR are investigated. When the molar ratio of Fe to Ni is 2 : 1, the reduction of CO2 to CO/H2 ranged from 1.2∼2.9. The ratio of CO/H2 from CO2RR is reportedly adjustable by changing Fe to Ni molar ratio and the applied potential.
