As a cutting-edge technology, three-dimensional (3D) printing technology is currently widely used in many fields, and hydrogel as an emerging material is also more and more widely used. However, ordinary hydrogel has poor physical properties and relatively insufficient stability. The hydrogel based on 3D printing technology has been paid more and more attentions by researchers. 3D printing hydrogel combines the advantages of both 3D printing and hydrogel, and has excellent physical and chemical properties, such as high mechanical strength, excellent electrical conductivity. It has been made into many 3D complex structural scaffolds. Because the prepared complex structural scaffolds have good biocompatibility, biodegradability and other advantages, 3D printing hydrogel have been fully applied in the medical field. In this review, the preparation materials, physical and chemical properties, preparation methods of 3D printing hydrogel and its applications in the medical field are summarized systematically.
