Abstract
By applying a mixed-ligand approach, two new Cu(II)-containing coordination polymers (CPs) with the chemical formula of [Cu(L)(OBA)(H2O)]n (1, L = 1,4-bis(5,6-dimethylbenzimidazol-1-yl)-2-butylene; H2OBA = 4,4′-oxybis(benzoic acid)) and {[Cu2(L)2(1,4-NDC)2(H2O)]·8.5H2O}n (2) (1,4-H2NDC = 1,4-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid) were solvothermally synthesized. Their protective activity against the nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) was evaluated and the detail mechanism was detected. Firstly, the Triglyceride detection kit was used to measure the content of the Triglyceride in the plasma after compounds 1 and 2 treatments. Besides, the real time RT-PCR was performed to detect the relative expression level of the expression level of the inflammatory genes nf-κb and p53 in the liver cells.
