English majors' critical thinking ability is essential to build up scholars' ability to think in English academic education. However, the development of thinking is a long-term and laborious task since the scholars generally would have obtained customary assessment-oriented education from kindergarten to college with a severe lack of consideration. Professional learning ability is what the lecturers interact with the scholars to stimulate their thinking and professional knowledge to confirm that their observation skill and up-to-date. English teaching faculty mustn't solely specialize in developing scholars' English knowledge and skills, however conjoint the cultivation of scholars' critical thinking skill and professional learning ability. This paper deliberates the implication of thinking ability for English majors based on the double tutor system. It is surveyed based on a theoretical basis and investigates professional learning and critical thinking development of English majors. It develops the scholars' abilities, especially the following seven characteristics, which includes being attentive to room interrogative capabilities, dynamic the room coaching mode, making quiet coaching environment, constructing a brand innovative scholar analysis scheme, planning the room training moderately, and up educators' vital thinking, skilled mentality and upgrading scholars' consciousness of intelligent skill self-training, to efficiently encourage scholars' freelance thinking and decision skill and gives higher progress in the coaching result of institution English.
