Importance of ynamides in heterocyclic synthesis

Abstract

Research on the synthesis of heterocyclic scaffolds is an important challenge in organic synthesis because heterocycles are an important block in the structure of many drugs and pharmaceutical molecules. Ynamides are one the most versatile and enabling building blocks in organic synthesis because they have recently used starting materials for the construction of multifunctional compounds especially heterocyclic compounds. In recent times, a number of catalytic systems have been reported in the literature for the synthesis of heterocyclic scaffolds from ynamide derivatives. This review has outlined the extensive application of ynamide derivatives in the synthesis of a library of heterocyclic scaffolds.
