A comparative analysis of the physicotechnical properties of existing and proposed perlite heat-insulation products, agricultural components, and acoustic fillings, demonstrating significant improvement in the quality of the latter, is presented. In this connection, a selective method is proposed for developing perlite deposits in thin extraction layers in order to obtain a homogeneous perlite rock in terms of average density with classification by size fractions, which will make it possible to obtain a homogeneous raw material and expanded perlite with a stable set of properties.
