Homochiral dysprosium phosphonate nanowires of S-, R-Dy(cyampH)2(C2H5COO) ⋅ 3H2O showing SMM behavior were achieved by incorporating enantiopure S-, R-(1-cyclohexylethyl)aminomethylphosphonic acids (cyampH2) and propionate anion into the neutral chain structure.
