Theoretical and experimental investigation on synchronization of secondary vibration isolation system with two exciters

The present work is a lucubration and verification of the previous research through theory and experiment. Because of the physical model of the published paper is oversimplified, the revised model is proposed in present research. And the small parameter averaging method and Routh-Hurwitz criterion are adopted to investigate the stability criterion and synchronization condition. Numerical analyses are given to discuss the relation between synchronous characteristics and structural parameters of the vibrating system. And then some simulations are given to research the synchronous mechanism of the system. Besides, an experimental platform is set up to test the dynamic characteristics and synchronization, which verifies the correctness of theoretical analysis and numerical simulations. The theory, numerical simulation and experiment demonstrate that the synchronous state of two identical rotors mounted symmetrically is independent on the variation of installation positions of two exciters. Finally, the error of the experiment datum is analyzed. This study will provide theoretical reference for the design of secondary isolation vibration screen.
