Abstract

A new additive in the form of a perforated steel strip, which is easily deformed plastically on welding, is proposed for the restoration of worn parts by electric contact welding, which ensures a high strength of the welded joint formed in a solid phase. The optimum parameters of the filler strip are found and the rational technological conditions of its welding are determined.
