Abstract
We study the dynamical features of a radiating star with a central vacuum cavity evolving under the assumption of expansion-free motion. Analytic solutions for such a class of stars are discussed by considering a separable form of metric variables. We show that with non-zero acceleration and radiation, an expansion-free dynamical star is not necessarily conformally flat. We also prove that the dynamics of such kinds of stars do not contain a self-similar solution.
