Aims: Many studies and researchers have reported on the genetic association between lipoprotein lipase (LPL) gene polymorphisms and myocardial infarction (MI). The results, however, have been inconclusive. Therefore, we assessed the relationship of LPL gene polymorphisms and MI risk by performing a meta-analysis.
