Digital Twin of Induction Installation for Heating Carbon Fiber

Abstract

This study considers the development of an induction heating installation that will allow carrying out the last phase of the heat treatment of graphite fiber. In the first phase of development, the installation’s digital twin is created, which is a complex mathematical model for describing the behavior of the designed furnace in all of the phases of its life cycle. The features and difficulties of constructing such systems for optimally designing and controlling equipment packages for the electromagnetic treatment of materials in an alternating field are considered as well.
