Attention focuses on the possibility of producing petroleum coke from batch containing heavy tar with the addition of residue from the hydraulic processing of petroleum. The resulting samples of petroleum coke are subjected to technical analysis, and their microstructure is assessed. The quality of the liquid coking products is studied by physicochemical analysis. The composition of the coking gases is determined.
