Existence of static wormhole solutions using f(R,ϕ,X) theory of gravity

The basic aim of this paper is to investigate the existence of traversable wormhole in the background of f(R,ϕ,X) theory of gravity, where the terms used in this theory are clarified as: R is the Ricci Scalar, ϕ represents the scalar potential and X denotes the kinetic term. For this purpose, we choose the spherically symmetric space-time to discuss the existence of wormhole geometry for some realistic regions. For our current study, we consider three different kinds of fluids: anisotropic fluid, isotropic fluid and barotropic fluid. We determine some exact solutions by taking some specific shape function and red-shift function for anisotropic fluid and examine the behavior of energy conditions. Furthermore, we discuss the geometry of shape functions by considering some numerical solution for isotropic and barotropic fluid respectively. It is noticed that energy conditions especially Null energy condition and Weak energy condition are violated for anisotropic fluid as well as for isotropic and barotropic fluid. The violation of these energy conditions indicates the presence of exotic matter, which is the main candidate for the existence of wormhole. Under some sensible conditions, the analysis may gives an assurance of the existence of wormhole geometries in f(R,ϕ,X) theory of gravity.
