Abstract
New linear concentration and temperature conservation laws have been found for chemical reactions that proceed according to nonlinear mechanisms in an open nonisothermal perfect-mixing reactor. These laws relate the non-steady-state values of concentrations and temperature to the initial conditions and the thermal effects of reactions and can be used to identify the mechanisms of chemical reactions.
