A series of novel benzofuran based 1,2,3-triazole derivatives were efficiently synthesized under both conventional stirring and microwave irradiation methods in good to excellent yields. The structures of the synthesized products were established based on the 1H NMR, 13C NMR, IR and mass spectral data. All the compounds were evaluated for their in vitro antibacterial activity.
