Ye Zhou received his B.S. (2008) in Electronic Science and Engineering from Nanjing University, M.S. (2009) in Electronic Engineering from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and Ph.D. (2013) in Physics and Materials Science from City University of Hong Kong. He performed postdoctoral research at the State Key Laboratory of Terahertz and Millimeter Waves, City University of Hong Kong, before joining the faculty at the Institute for Advanced Study, Shenzhen University in 2015. He is currently a tenured IAS Fellow and group leader, and his research interests include nanocomposite materials and nanoscale devices for technological applications.
