We investigate the asymptotic behavior of solutions to a nonhomogeneous second order difference inclusion of monotone type and prove new results on the existence and approximation of zeroes of the operator. In particular, we introduce new weighted averages of the solutions and prove their convergence to a zero of the operator under different control conditions on the parameters.
