Multinucleon transfer reactions in the nearly symmetric reaction systems 204Hg+208Pb and 204Hg+198Pt

In order to test the reliability of calculated transfer cross section for the nearly symmetric reaction systems within the improved dinuclear system (DNS) model, the reactions 204Hg+208Pb and 204Hg+198Pt are investigated with one set of parameters and with the same assumptions. The transfer cross sections are calculated and compared with existing experimental data, we find that the exception of the yield fragments of small transfers for 204Hg+208Pb, the improved DNS model is unable to reproduce the data. We also discuss the influence of the uncertainty of model parameters on the theoretical results.
