In this paper, we derive a Weierstrass-type representation formula for regular lightlike surfaces in Lorentz-Minkowski 3-space. It allows a local parametrization of a regular lightlike surface by a pair of holomorphic and meromorphic dual functions. We also discuss definition of minimal lightlike surfaces in Lorentz-Minkowski 3-space in this context by relating it to the class of surfaces that are described by the Weierstrass representation.
