In this paper we establish by variational methods the existence of nontrivial solutions for a Schrödinger–Poisson system. This system is new one coupled by Schrödinger equation of $p$-Laplacian with a Poisson equation. Some techniques are applied to obtain the boundedness of the Palais–Smale sequence.
