Intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) patient specific quality assurance (PSQA) plays a critically important role in accurate and safe delivery of IMRT treatment. However, it adds significant workload to medical physicists as the current PSQA procedure is complex and often manually performed, which may even become a burden in some busy clinics. Recent advances in artificial intelligence (AI) have led to developments of new method that is capable of predicting measurement‐based PSQA.
