In this paper we study a weighted time-fractional asymptotical regularization method for solving linear ill-posed problems where only noisy data with are available and is a linear bounded operator. This regularization method can be considered as a preconditioned version for the newly-developed time-fractional asymptotical regularization method. Error analysis and numerical tests show that the method has acceleration effect on the original time-fractional asymptotical regularization method.
