We correct an error in our paper “Inviscid limit of the compressible Navier–Stokes equations for asymptotically isothermal gases”, which was made at four distinct points in the document. The main result therein (Theorem 1.4) is correct as stated, with the only exception that the requirement $\alpha >1/2$ must be imposed in point (3) of Definition 1.1 of the paper.
