In this paper, we investigate the present situation and issues concerning efforts to integrate sustainable development goals (SDGs) education into the curriculum of a Japanese senior high school. We observed the implementation of SDGs-relevant courses for one year and conducted a questionnaire survey to grasp the teachers’ attitudes toward SDGs education. Based on these data, we identify the difficulties related to SDGs education, such as discrepancies of interest in SDGs between teachers and students, teachers’ lack of knowledge about SDGs, and so on. We also note the positive impacts of collaboration among local stakeholders during the course of raising teachers’ understanding and attitudes toward SDGs education.

在本文中，我们调查了将可持续发展目标（SDG）教育纳入日本高中课程的工作的现状和问题。我们观察了可持续发展目标相关课程的实施情况，并进行了问卷调查，以了解教师对可持续发展目标教育的态度。基于这些数据，我们确定与可持续发展目标教育相关的困难，例如师生之间对可持续发展目标的兴趣差异，教师对可持续发展目标的了解不足等。我们还注意到，在提高教师对可持续发展目标教育的理解和态度的过程中，地方利益相关者之间的合作产生了积极影响。
