At the time of this writing, many outdoor and experiential programs will have adapted their offerings to new forms of in-person and online delivery, and others will have closed or been eliminated. Schools, colleges, universities, workplaces, families, and individuals are wrestling with the complexities involved in managing innumerable combinations of instructional modalities (my own household being a case in point). Taking stock of the effects of the COVID pandemic on experiential education will be an important research topic to explore in the months and years to come.
