Abstract

The effectiveness of DMIPEK and DK-90 acetylene reagents in the flotational enrichment of coals is studied. In coal flotation, these reagents may be used either as frothing agents or as complex reagents with selective collection properties. They increase coal extraction by 2.7–3.7%, with simultaneous decrease in the total reagent consumption. The use of acetylene reagents permits flotation of high-density coal slurries matching the effectiveness of basic flotation at enrichment facilities.
