The volumeBarbarian: Explorations of aWestern Concept in Theory, Literature, and the Arts edited by Markus Winkler and written together with Maria Boletsi, Jens Herlth, Christian Moser, Julian Reidy, and Melanie Rohner, takes the reader on a detailed historical journey of the ‘barbarian’ from the centuries of the Enlightenment up until the 20th century.
