Dickens Quarterly Pub Date : 2017-01-01 , DOI: 10.1353/dqt.2017.0027

Vol. 34, No. 3, September 2017 Symposium at the University of Iceland, and “After Dickens,” organized by Emily Bowles at the University of York in late 2016. The book’s other main focus on movement and travel also means that it will be of interest to the increasing number of scholars working in the field of mobility studies. Whether this particular collection will stand out amongst the range of collected volumes published to commemorate Dickens’s birth in years to come remains to be seen, but if it does its chief significance will lie in its insights on the autobiographical fictions and its engagement with the aforementioned sub-fields of mobility and reception study.

Daniel Siegel
