Abstract Carole Adamsbaum died on October 4, 2019. She worked for decades as a sexuality educator at the high school and college levels, along with providing training for other educators. Carole also worked as a psychiatric nurse and for many years opened her home to teens as a foster mother. This article includes tributes to her from family and friends and a reprint of her autobiographical essay from How I Got into Sex…Ed.
