Following up on the November 2020 issue’s early reporting of manuscript submission and decision activity, Administration & Society (A&S) ended the year with its greatest volume of submissions ever. This is the third year in a row that A&S has exceeded the previous year’s record volume of submissions. In 2020, we received 335 new and 96 revised original article submissions, for a total of 431. In addition, we received 55 new and 12 revised Perspectives submissions, for a total of 67. Total manuscript submissions in 2020 thus fell just short of 500, a remarkable level of activity for the journal. Including desk rejections, we accepted 14.9% of all manuscripts decided in 2020. Of the 95 manuscripts that passed desk review and received peer review, we accepted 50, or 52.6%.
