The aim of this article is to set the values of permissible delays in the remote-control (RC) channel of unmanned aerial systems (in particular, remotely piloted aircraft systems) that are directly controlled to perform typical flight tasks (e.g. takeoff, climb, cruise, landing) and are not related to racing. The absence of such requirements does not allow to unequivocally draw conclusions about the possibility of using certain network solutions (e.g., 3G, LTE, Iridium, etc.) as a RC channel. The task of setting the values of permissible delays in the RC channel is based on an analysis of available experimental data of same and similar systems.
