ABSTRACT At the heart of this article are the spoken words of two survivors of child sexual abuse, represented as stanzas in the traditions of poetic inquiry. There is very little research published about how agencies might offer facilitated writing as therapy groups, similar to drama or art therapy with groups of survivors. The reported response of these two women to a ten-week-long writing group facilitated according to the Person Centred Approach, and using creative writing activities, suggests clear implications for practice.
