Abstract

Bending oscillations have been studied for a pipeline on a movable support and a liquid contained therein under varying internal pressure. The case of the main resonance of steady-state nonlinear parametric pipe oscillations is considered, and an approximate analytical expression is obtained for the amplitude thereof. The results of approximate analytical and numerical solutions have been compared.
