Abstract

The results of a comparative and morphological analysis of pistillate flowers of Typha pontica from four water bodies in the south of Russia are presented. The typical morphological features of pistillate flowers of the species are established. Differences have been found in the structure of the pistillate flower of T. pontica during the formation of the surface of the pistillate part of the inflorescence and in the shape and sculpture of the fruit (seed). The range of distribution of the species has been broadened. It is suggested that the studied populations of T. pontica have originated from the littoral Sarmatian transformed species that reduced as a result of the drop in water in the Sarmatian Sea.

fil。&A. Krasnova(Typha L.,Typhaceae)在东欧南部的水域中
