Abstract

In this work, the Caputo Fabrizio definition of fractional derivative is utilized to explore a problem in thermoelasticity with fractional theory. The problem regards an infinite elastic space under the impact of an uninterrupted heat point source. The method of asymptotic expansions is used to find the inverse Laplace transform valid for short times. A summarized discussion about the behavior of wave’s propagation is introduced.
