Glassy chalcogenide composites under high pressure

The influence of implantation of single-walled carbon nanotubes (CNTs) on the electrical and structural properties of layered glassy materials AgGe1+xAs1−x(S+CNT)3, x = 0.4; 0.5; 0.6 were analyzed at high pressures of up to 50 GPa. It was revealed that, in these composite materials, CNTs increased the stability under high pressures in the range from 15 to 50 GPa and prevented the enhancement of interlayer interaction. As a result, significant changes in the electrical properties in such composites were observed only at pressures exceeding the damage threshold for CNTs.
