The purpose of this editorial is to provide guidance to potential authors to help increase the likelihood of their submission being accepted in the International Journal of Market Research (IJMR). There are already detailed guides on the IJMR website on how to format and write for IJMR (https://journals.sagepub.com/home/mre) and I won’t repeat this information here. Similarly, general information on the background and aims of the journal has been covered in a prior editorial (Nunan, 2020a).
