In this work, a matrix Riemann-Hilbert problem of a mixed Chen-Lee-Liu derivative nonlinear Schrödinger (CLL-NLS in brief) equation on the half-line is established by the unified transformation approach. the solution satisfying an initial–boundary value data of the CLL-NLS equation is reconstructed by solving the matrix Riemann-Hilbert problem. Especially, the spectral functions are not independent, but enjoy by a compatibility condition, which is the so-called global relation.
