Highly pure Na2Ti6O13 nanorods reliably obtained via molten salt synthesis represent a suitable anode for Li‐ and Na‐ion batteries. A considerable application potential has been reported for grid‐scale energy storage devices. They allow collection of intermittent renewable energy round‐the‐clock, reducing its curtailment and ensuring an adequate peaking generation capacity.
