Preparation and characterization of titanium oxide based poly (vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene) polymer electrolyte films

The recent research focused on the fabrication of flexible battery and electrochemical performance in various fields such as flexible electronics, wearable sensors and implantable medical devices. Due to essential safety and less stability of the organic liquid-based electrolytes were replaced by the ionic liquid electrolytes with enhancing properties. In this manuscript, the flexible LIB was fabricated with the efficient, stable polymer matrix such as TiO2 doped PVDF-HFP polymer and high conductivity possessed EMIMDCA electrolytic liquid. The prepared TiO2 doped PVDF-HFP was analysed using various characterization techniques such as FTIR for the functional groups present in the polymer matrix, XRD for crystallinity of the TiO2 NPs, SEM for the determination of the pores before and after doping with TiO2 and TGA for the electrochemical stability. The electrochemical performance of fabricating battery was determined using cyclic voltammetry studies and results were suggested that high stability and ionic conductivity was observed in LIBs.
